The Poetics of Space is titled after a 1958 book of the same name by French philosopher Gaston Bachelard. In this photography series, I paired urban and rural images together, showing the similarities between natural patterns and man-made designs.
9 x 12" pigment ink on archival photo paper. Matted and framed as diptychs. White archival mat boards and black wood frames. Signed on the back of each photograph with carbon pencil.
